Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB), an armed police force under the Union Ministry of Home Affairs, has announced a major recruitment drive for sportspersons. Applications are invited to fill 404 Constable (Group C) vacancies under the Sports Quota across various sports disciplines.

Cycling, Gymnastics, Powerlifting, Shooting: 4 each
Eligibility Criteria:
Educational Qualification: Candidates must have passed the 10th standard (Matriculation) or its equivalent from a recognized board.
Age Limit: 18 to 23 years. Age relaxation is applicable as per government rules (10 years for SC/ST and 8 years for OBC candidates).
Sports Qualification: Candidates must have represented the country or their state in state, national, or international-level tournaments within the last two years. Applicants must have secured medals in recognized competitions such as Senior/Junior National Championships, Khelo India Youth/University Games, School Games Federation of India Tournaments, etc. Marks will be allotted based on Gold, Silver, or Bronze medals secured.
Salary / Pay Scale: Selected candidates will be placed in a pay scale ranging from Rs. 21,700 to Rs. 69,100 per month, plus applicable Central Government allowances.
