Around 48,000 students in Telangana have applied for the reverification and recounting of their Intermediate examination answer sheets. Students who felt they received lower marks than expected, as well as those who failed despite expecting to pass, paid the required online fee and submitted their applications. The deadline for the process concluded on the 24th of this month.
Out of total applicants, approximately 7,000 students requested a recount of marks, while the remaining 41,000 opted for a complete re-verification of their answer sheets. With the Advanced Supplementary exams scheduled to commence on May 13, the board is working to declare the recounting and reverification results before this date so students have clarity.
According to Intermediate Board sources, subject experts have already begun the process of examining the answer sheets at the board office.
