Telangana School Summer Vacation 2026
The Telangana School Education Department has wrapped up all major academic activities for the current year. With the Summative Assessment-II (SA-II) examinations concluding on April 18, schools are gearing up for the final week of operations.
Last Working Day: April 23, 2026
Holiday Duration: April 24, 2026, to June 11, 2026 (48 days)
Reopening Date: June 12, 2026
Result Declaration: SA-II results will be announced on April 23, accompanied by parent-teacher meetings.
School Education Director Dr. E. Naveen Nicolas has issued specific directives to school headmasters to ensure administrative continuity during the break. Authorities have been instructed not to relieve teachers currently on deputation (OD basis) until the last working day.
Andhra Pradesh School Summer Vacation 2026
Mirroring the schedule in Telangana, the Director of School Education in Andhra Pradesh has formally issued proceedings for the summer break applicable to all government, aided, and private schools following the state syllabus.

Teacher Reporting Date: June 5, 2026
While students will enjoy their vacation until June 11, teachers and school staff across all managements are mandated to report back to their respective schools a week early on June 5, 2026. This early reporting is reserved for school readiness programs and preparatory administrative work to ensure a smooth transition into the 2026–27 academic year.
