Rohtak, Haryana: In a landmark move aimed at transforming public education and bridging the gap between government and private schooling, Haryana’s Education Minister Mahipal Dhanda inaugurated the highly anticipated 'Super 40' program in Rohtak. Launched at the Government Girls Senior Secondary School on Hisar Road, this initiative is designed to empower government school students by providing them with top-tier, free coaching for highly competitive national exams including JEE, NEET, and the NDA.
A Transformational Model for Public Education
Calling the 'Super 40' initiative a "transformational model," Minister Mahipal Dhanda emphasized the state's unwavering commitment to equitable education. The core philosophy of the program ensures that meritorious students from economically disadvantaged backgrounds are not deprived of premier educational opportunities due to a lack of financial resources.
"Students of government schools are second to none. With the right guidance, discipline, and consistent effort, they can achieve any goal," Dhanda stated during his interaction with the first batch of aspirants. To further strengthen the academic infrastructure and support system of the program, the Education Minister also announced an immediate grant of ₹5 lakh from his discretionary fund.

Drawing inspiration from Haryana’s highly successful flagship 'Super 100' initiative, 'Super 40' expands the reach of free, high-quality coaching to a wider pool of talented students. The program is specifically structured to challenge the widespread perception that premium competitive exam preparation is exclusively the domain of expensive private coaching institutes.
Key features of the Super 40 initiative include:
Expert Faculty: Coaching delivered by highly experienced teachers drawn directly from the government school ecosystem.
Comprehensive Curriculum: A structured one-year course for Class 11 and 12 students, alongside a two-year phased preparation model.
NCERT Focus: Emphasis on deep conceptual clarity based on the NCERT syllabus, supplemented by regular testing and strict performance tracking.
Competitive Environment: Creating an ecosystem of regular assessments and peer learning that mimics the country's leading private coaching centers.

Rohtak Deputy Commissioner Sachin Gupta highlighted the inclusive vision driving the new program. By bringing exceptional coaching directly into the government school framework, the district administration aims to ensure that raw talent is not limited by a lack of access.
“Super 40 is about inclusion and opportunity. The aim is to make government schooling synonymous with excellence and competitiveness, ensuring that opportunity reaches the last mile,” Gupta noted.
