Telangana state government has
appointed senior IAS officer Smt. A. Sri Devasena as the Incharge
Director and Secretary of the Telangana State Board of Intermediate
Education (TSBIE).
The
decision was made as the current Director of Intermediate Education and
Board Secretary, Sri S. Krishna Aditya, IAS, steps away on an extended
leave. To prevent any administrative delays in the board’s ongoing
activities, the state government swiftly issued official orders
entrusting the critical responsibilities to A. Sri Devasena.
Sri
S. Krishna Aditya has been officially granted an ‘Ex-India Earned
Leave’ to travel to the United States (USA) due to personal reasons. His
approved leave spans a total of 47 days, officially commencing on April
25, 2026, and concluding on June 10, 2026.
Smt.
A. Sri Devasena is currently serving as the Commissioner of
Technical Education for Telangana. Following the new government
directive, she has been given Full Additional Charge (FAC) to oversee
the complete operations of the Intermediate Board.
The
Telangana state government formalized this leadership arrangement by
releasing the official government order, G.O.Rt.No.460. This proactive
administrative measure guarantees that essential educational
processes—including academic calendar planning, supplemental examination
arrangements, and student welfare services—continue without any
hindrance during the 47-day period.
