IBM to Provide Free AI Training and Certification to 5 Million Indian Youth by 2030

 

New Delhi: IBM has announced a massive
initiative to train and skill 5 million young people in India by the
year 2030. According to the official press release from the IBM India
Newsroom, the tech giant will focus on equipping the future workforce
with critical expertise in cutting-edge domains such as Artificial
Intelligence (AI), Cybersecurity, and Quantum Computing.

The announcement underscores IBM’s strategic vision to empower India’s
demographic dividend, ensuring that the country’s youth are
well-prepared for the evolving demands of the global technology
landscape.

The comprehensive skilling roadmap will be executed primarily through IBM SkillsBuild,
the company’s free, digital learning platform. The program aims to
provide not just basic digital literacy, but deep, industry-relevant
technical knowledge.
